Le Dico du Scam

French-speaking scammer slang: Le Dico du Scam

Allo, scama, rez, lookup, shooter… French-speaking scammers who run phishing, fake bank advisor and smishing campaigns have developed their own vocabulary. It shows up on Telegram channels and autoshops, Discord servers, forums, and even in the code of phishing kits.

Le Dico du Scam documents this slang, term by term, from what StalkPhish observes while monitoring these networks. For SOC, CERT and anti-fraud analysts, it helps read an ad, qualify a phishing kit or follow an investigation; for everyone else, it explains how the scams targeting their data and money are organised.

Terms and quotes are kept in their original French; definitions are translated into English. The glossary is collaborative and open source: anyone can suggest a term observed in the wild.
